~ Divine Light Temple ~
Located at 1 Stamford Square in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, we are temporarily based inside the 'Victoria Park United Church'.
Stamford Square is slightly North of St. Clair Avenue East off Victoria Park Avenue just past the gas station. The Temple will open for class education with a focus on mediumship development in September 2007. As you work with your ‘already gifted psychic ability’ you’ll learn to connect with your guides and past loved ones and bring messages from the spirit world. As you grow spiritually your psyche will increase, and as your psyche increases you’ll open other means that the senses hold, such as, clairvoyance, clairsentience, and clairaudience, and other intuitive means that you’re not aware of.
Clairvoyance is a direct response to a physical object or event given through a past loved one. This is quite often without any sensory contact and precognition, or a non-inferential response to a future event. To see clairvoyantly is to see a spirit being within your own mind, that has presented them self to you. To see an entity standing in a cloud form is called manifestation and is known to be ghostly.
Clairaudient is the power or faculty of hearing something not present to the ear but regarded as having objective reality. Sometimes when you're in contact with spirit you'll hear different sounds like, music, chimes, the sound of birds singing, the sound of a train, water falls and so on. Oftentimes a medium is more clairaudient then clairvoyant. They hear words as if having a conversation with themselves, as the words are placed in their inner ear and not heard audibly; making it clairaudient, which means to hear clearly.
Clairsentience is the sensing you feel from spirit. You can actually sense a problem that this contact once had while alive or an actual illness causing his or her death. This is a way that this particular spirit can make itself known by giving verification of something that only the receiver would know. To sense something, as in to pass on a message via this means, for example is to feel happiness and sensing that the person you’re drawn to is feeling much joy or will experience it in the near future. In clairsentience you oftentimes will try to interpret what you sense, and that may not be a good thing as it may be the opposite and in the past. Nevertheless give what you get until your interpreting has gotten better.
Although the Temple is a pure Spiritualist church everyone is welcome, no one is turned away. As each individual has a right to privacy the Temple believes that each individual has a right to their own religious beliefs. Most organizations in Spiritualism accept this but like my dad used to say, “When in Rome do as the Romans do”. Therefore, I ask that when you visit or attend the Temple that you don’t try to impress another with your way of life. This is your own personal ‘chosen’ and that’s your soul right as a free spirit.
