ABC UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT DISTRICT LEADERSHIP TEAM

The ABC Unified School District DISTRICT LEADERSHIP TEAM (DLT) was the brain child of Superintendent Emeritus Dr. Ron Barnes.  His leadership concept of "THE MAIN THING IS THE MAIN THING".  Originally, the organization was called DISTRICT MANAGEMENT TEAM (DMT) and its mission was to join all District's certificated/classified management into a unified group to discuss issues and create solutions.  The name was changed to DISTRICT LEADERSHIP TEAM to signify that all members of the District: District Personnel, Site Administrators, Certificated Management, and Classified Management  are also LEADERS.  From this think tank was the first STRATEGIC PLAN was born.  The STRATEGIC PLAN sets the vision and the direction for all of its constituents and sets the guiding principals for the behavior of the organization.
